SOLD: T60p 15" SXGA+/2.33GHz T7600/100GB 7K2/DVDR/BT/ABGN
SOLD to forum member: Excellent condition, top of the line, T60p. This one has the fastest T60 series CPU available, several other great features and a brand new 15" FlexView IPS SXGA+ LCD (1400 x 1050).
*Image Removed*
High resolutions pictures --> *Image Link Removed*
Again, it has the fastest CPU available for a T60 series, the 2.33GHz Core 2 Duo T7600. In addition to a brand new 15" FlexView IPS SXGA+ LCD, it comes with 2GB RAM, 256MB ATI FireGL V5250 video, 100GB 7200RPM drive, DVD burner, Bluetooth, fingerprint, IBM/Atheros ABGN, 9 cell battery, XPPro COA. This one has great options!
The original three year warranty expires on February 20, 2010 - it can be extended for two more years! It works perfectly. Cosmetically, it is in excellent condition with only one slight wear on the top cover corners.
The LCD, keyboard and palmrest were just replaced by Lenovo. The LCD is very bright, it has no pixel issues at all, it has no scratches or scuffs at all. It looks gorgeous. (If pressed, I'd say there is one tiny, light gray dust spec. That's it.)
The 9 cell battery is showing 511 cycles and 69.50 of 84.24Wh capacity. It's a Panasonic and it still lasts a long time.
$725 well packed, insured and delivered in the U.S. PayPal, USPS money order or cash accepted. ($25 discount for in person pickup w/m.o. or cash.)
Product: ThinkPad T60p 2007-DS1
Current description (the Lenovo website doesn't exactly show these specs, but they are correct):
Intel Core 2 Duo T7200 (2.33GHz)
2GB PC2-5300 RAM (2 x 1GB)
100GB 7200rpm HDD
15in 1400x1050 LCD IPS Flexview
256MB ATI Radeon V5250 video chipset
DVDR/CDRW optical drive (DVD burner & CD burner)
IBM/Atheros 802.11abgn wireless
Bluetooth
Modem
1Gb Ethernet
UltraNav
Secure chip
Fingerprint reader
9c Li-Ion battery --> in green zone
WinXP Pro COA --> recovery partition intact
90w IBM AC adapter
Original warranty expires on February 20, 2010

A thing of beauty...and that's a huge understatement...
What I'm dying to know is what shall be replacing it...
Best of luck with the sale, this one shouldn't see this weekend in your possession...

Re: FS: T60p 15" SXGA+/2.33GHz T7600/100GB 7K2/DVDR/BT/ABGN PIC
Thank you. It's a bit of a long story regarding what prompted me to sell this one (it was going to be my keeper, and I suppose it still could be), but it is prepped for sale (new parts, wiped drive, pictures posted, etc.), so I figured I'd let it go.
In reality, I don't need such a powerful machine for home. I will replace it with either a really nice Z61m (WSXGA+, ATI X1400) or a lesser 15" T60p. I really like the 15" T60 line. They are perfect for my home use, whether loaded with a T7600 or not. Of course my second machine around the house, which sees more action is my first Frankenpad, the T41 with an R51 mobo and an SSD. That one is just perfect for surfing - fast to recover from hibernation, long battery life and silent. Oh, then there's my travel machine...too many machines, too little time!

Doesn't the T41 originally come with a PATA hard drive? (I could be wrong there...) but if so, how did you get it to work with a SSD? I'm asking because I have a really nice R52 that I would like to drop a OZz ssd into, but the drive interface is SATA, not PATA.underclocker wrote:, the T41 with an R51 mobo and an SSD. !

There are PATA SSDs as well, not only SATA SSDs

Bingo! For laptops, there are 1.8" & 2.5" in with either PATA or SATA interfaces.AvalonXIII wrote:There are PATA SSDs as well, not only SATA SSDs

Wow, this truly is the best Thinkpad ever!
The fastest T60 model ever made, with top-of-the-line CPU and GPU. Personally, I would actually prefer SXGA+ IPS to UXGA IPS, since UXGA on 15" is a tad too high for me and not useful enough for the average tasks I do.
Somebody should buy it and extend the warranty till 2012, and be all set for a very long time!
I would have been so on it, if I hadn't already had my 2007-QPG.

Indeed, plus factory ABGN. Good thing I didn't have too much time to think about it. SOLD to forum member.dr_st wrote:Wow, this truly is the best Thinkpad ever!
