T43 running hot on bottom right under touchpad portion, why?

My T43 run hot after about 20min of using times. I can feel the heat when I left it on my thigh right under touchpad portion. I thought that portion is southbright not the GPU right? why it runing hot?

That's where the HDD and WiFi card are located. Did you set a timer for the HDD in the Power Manager?

No, HDD is on the right side next to FringerPrint scan. WiFi can get hot and plus Im using Network connetion. Wifi card turn off. It must be southbight... Chipset is above GPU around key G and H portion.

Sorry, your lefts and rights in the passage got me confused. Yes, it is the Southbridge under the WiFi card and touch pad. It interfaces to the HDD and USB etc.

If you have it on your lap, the CPU puts out much more heat than the Southbridge.

I pop up the Keyboard and Touch Pad plastic last night and even remove Wifi card. I run it while they are out. I can feel the heat on southbrighte by my Finger. Don't know why, it create more heat then Chipset(Northbright). Because the Wifi card above on it, I don't think i can put a heatsink on it. Any suggestion??

Oh... Whats original output voltage on T43 adaptor? I can used a 19v output adaptor on it?

What voltage on T4X AC adatoper? Search on Ebay and they all come with 16v output... I have 19v geniune home.. hope it won't fire with pop it in.

The genuine T43 adaptor gives output of 16 volts.

I have T41 with same problem so i removed the top cover and pu t a heat sink high enough to touch the keyboard
so now when i close the keyboard, the keyboard acts a s a larger heatsink

T43 design differently.. It southbright portion block out by WiFi card and Chipset mouse stick. I wish i can used keyboard as heatsink
