removal of the EISA partion in an X40

I used a set of IBM restore disc to install Win Xp on a new hard drive(20Gb).
Now I have "IBM-Service" @ 4.29Gb. Since I already have the restore
discs how do I remove this partition? :help:
R52(2) - X41T - X40(4) - T42 - A31P - A31
A22P - A21P -A20m - 365xd - 760EL - 770Z

The disk manager in XP might be able to remove the partition.

start > run > 'mmc'
Click add, and find 'disk management'.
Find the EISA partition and see if you can delete it.

If not, you might have some luck using a boot CD to do it... the XP install might be able to delete the partition (if it can see it) or some random Linux install/live CD.
