T400s screen vs. X301 screen

#1 Post by furrycute » Tue Aug 18, 2009 3:27 am

How does the T400s screen compare with the X301 screen. I read the X301 screen has 300 NITs. How many NITs does the T400s screen have?

The T400s screen is 300 nits as well. It is contrast and viewing angles that makes for a good screen, not the brightness.

Warning: both have nearly zero contrast ratio so it looks washed without black color.

Thanks for the replies guys.

Then how does the WXGA+ screen on the X200s compare to the screens on the x301 and the T400s?

Same crap. The only chance are the 15" WSXGA+ or WUXGA which conforms to the "old" standard of notebook TN panels.
