I have a laptop (T42) and Lenovo desktop. The laptop takes so long to start but the desktop starts right away. I always make sure I delete temp files and oe files. They are both wireless and connected wirelessly.
I don't know what could cause this. I don't have music or games or a lot of programs installed; just the classic things.
Does anyone know why this is happening?
Thanks,
Sand
Wireless Connection 2 takes so long
Re: Wireless Connection 2 takes so long
Try either enabling the Wireless Zero Configuration service or disabling it depending upon what it is now. You can set it to Automatic, Manual, or Disabled. Try either Automatic or Disabled and reboot. Go to Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services > Wireless Zero Configuration to set.

Re: Wireless Connection 2 takes so long
Make sure the wireless network you are trying to connect to is the primary connection, you may have other connections that the machine is trying first. Make sure network boot is disabled in bios.
