I have a t43p that is not longer going to used extensively for CAD, so i was wondering if it were possible to not use the fireGL drivers from Ati, and instead use the catalyst drivers because it would be far more conducive to the occasional gaming this machine will be doing.
I currently have the Ati FireGL drivers installed (using mobily mod), and I tried to use the Mobility Mod to install the Catalyst drivers I DL'd from Ati's site and I got a BSOD halfway through the install.
Do I have to use an earlier (older) catalyst driver? If so which ones are compatible (if any)? Thanks a bunch.
