Lenovo System Update Trouble

#1 Post by eecon » Tue Aug 25, 2009 10:24 pm

Has anyone actually got System Update to update itself and work successfully since they supposedly brought it down for a major revamp back in May?

It still can't download the update of itself (that it says it needs) ..... It starts the download and after a couple of seconds it coughs up a message saying that I need an active network connection, which I do have, of course.

Thanks.

System update works great for me on a number of different Thinkpads. maybe you should try downloading and installing the latest version (3.14) yourself (as opposed to trying to get system update to update itself)?
