Looking for previous rev of ATI driver - 1yd170ww

Hi Folks,

I'm looking for a previous rev of the T43 ATI driver, 1yd170ww.exe. It used to be available on the ibm ftp site, but no longer is. Anyone know where I might come across it? I'm hoping it will fix some ati2mtag errors which may be causing the screen to freeze upon user logouts.

Freezing LCD on a T43 is more likely to be a hardware problem in my experience...

Have you tried these:

They work great on all of my ThinkPads with ATi graphics, including the T43p in my sig...

It's probably not a hardware issue - the drop out is only on the external LCD, and only happens during user logout. It's coupled with ati2mtag error messages complaining about EDID versions. Thanks for the link, i'll try it, but would prefer if someone could point me to the previous video files.

thanks mike. yep - i've seen those threads. still no luck finding the previous rev of the video driver though.
