I have an X40 (P M LV1.2) that I hardly use and an X41 (P M 758 1.5). I wanted to change the bezel of the X41 (looks worn) and put the X40's. When I took off both, I noticed that the X41 bezel had a gold foil under the palmrest, the X40 did not.
Also I also noticed that the memory cover of the X41 had an extra set of holes running in the middle compared to the X40.
Is it all right to interchange them, would there be any heat issues since I figured that the gold foil and extra set of holes are there because the X41 generates more heat than the X40.
TIA
Can the X40 and X41 upper bezel be interchanged?
