(External Site) Several Low Priced T42s

Was browsing Data Sales Online and saw this among their listings:
T42 2373-JXU

Flexview SXGA+ screens (I'm pretty sure. Correct me if I'm wrong)
64 MB Radeon 9600 graphics

$185 plus tax and shipping. Not an absolutely amazing price, but a good deal considering the specs. There are currently 10 available as I post this. They'll give you a 15 days warranty, which is enough time to check for GPU issues.

These are listed as Grade C Scratch and Dent, so keep that in mind before buying. I've purchased a Grade C T43 from this site and the wear on it was not bad at all, but I cannot speak to all their Grade C models.

Actually, I think that's a great price for a 15" flexview T42 with the 9600 GPU. That was the "sweet spot" T4x, in my opinion (I used to own one). Only questions are will the GPU come loose after 15 days, and will the cosmetic consition be acceptable (Grade C apparently can cover a wide range). That's the gamble you take when buying from an anonymous website like this (with the generic web layout).

Agreed. There's always some uncertainty when it comes to a store's perception of cosmetics. The T43 I bought had two months left on the warranty, so it could've easily been extended. Unfortunately, I'm sure there is no warranty left on these T42s.

The T43 is a nice model Ron, I just sold one. It actually has better specs than the seller lists (unless they removed or changed parts). It has 802.11abg WiFi and bluetooth.
