Swapping WUXGA from W500 into T500?

I am at school and have a T500 while the freshman class just recieved W500's(not WUXGA) and everything externally appears to be the same, so is this possible? Im interested in the higher res for Pro/Engineer.

PS. How hard would it be to find a new screen bezel and put a web came in? I might as well now while i have it apart if possible.

Should work fine if you can handle the mechanical issues of replacement.

I don't see why it wouldn't work. I will say this: WUXGA on a 15.4" machine like this is a godsend for those of us with good eyes. But at 147 DPI, it's small. A lot of people I know have trouble using mine.

Not so sure it is such a godsend if you want to retain your good eyesight...

Especially with the poor quality of WUXGA LCDs on W500...

And the fact that you'd be voiding the warranty aside...
