TrueCrypt on an encrypted drive

My employer wants to protect all of our drives with an encryption program, not Truecrypt. They will have access to the drive PW which will be tied to our windows logon. I'd like to use Truecrypt to ecrypt a folder for my financial stuff that they can't access. Can one use truecrypt on an encrypted drive? Should I let them encrypt first, then use truecrypt or should I set up my encrypted folder first?
If this is not the best place to ask this and someone could recommend a better forum, I'd appreciate the info.

First (putting on my "preachy" hat) I assume that you also have your financial files at home, or on a separate flash drive or some such. Your employer owns that machine, and can take it away at any time, along with your financial date on the drive, so that backup is essential. Since the financial data is relatively small, it could also be emailed as an attachment to yourself to used as a backup

Next, since the Truecrypt container is seen as just another file by the computer, it does not matter when it is created, before or after your employer encrypts your machine's drive.

"Lecture" appreciated. By financial files I mean some things like CC numbers etc. I wouldn't keep real files at work. I just wanted to be sure that encrypting (they use Pointsec) an encrypted file wouldn't be a problem.
