T500 battery size

Is standard 6 cell battery sticking out on ThinkPad T500?

Looks like I've found answer:
"The 6, 7, 8, and 9 cell batteries are larger than the standard 4 cell battery and extend beyond the back of the notebook."

The six-cell does not stick out the back on the T500, only the nine-cell does.

That's true for the T400/T61 14" wide / X-series.

With the T500, the 6-cell battery is plush, and only the 9-cell battery sticks out (and not so much too).
