Capacitative Screens

Assuming they are going to that, would it be possible to upgrade an existing model X200T to that... or is that kind of screen something where they have to start from scratch with another model of tablet? (Sorry, I don't know that much about monitors/hardware).

Just curious!

Ok, they have the new ENHANCED Multi-Touch Screens now... I tried calling my tech support line and just regular Lenovo and no one could tell me anything about them. They just said they didn't do upgrades, just repairs (but not that an upgrade wasn't POSSIBLE with the machine).

I've upgraded my drivers and I don't see any difference so that MULTI-TOUCH (versus multi meaning finger/pen are both useable) stuff has to just be the new enhanced panels. They just told me they don't do upgrades at the support depot. Dang it.

What's the part number for that new LCD screen?

The capacitative screen is the one feature on the Dell XT2 that I sent back which I miss.

(well, the X200T also didn't have the Thinklight which I kind of thought it did... I guess my camera took that spot).
