Retailers for Lenovo S12, Acer 11.6 w/XP, Samsung NC20?

My niece has made her case for a laptop.
As much as I'd like to indoctrinate her with an X301, the budget does not go there.
Thin-and-light, with XP, decent battery life, good build quality, tolerable keyboard, XGA or better resolution are the goal. (Oh, and "pink" of course.)

I can find HP, Dell, and to some extent, Gateway netbooks everywhere.

But I have no luck finding the Lenovo S12. The only Acer 11.6" models I found come with Vista.

I've been to the usual places: Costco, Frys, Best Buy, Staples, Office Depot, Office Max, PC Mall, and even the UCLA student store, which is the only place in town to see quality Thinkpads in the flesh. We don't have any Ritz Camera stores anymore.

I don't usually do retail, but in this case, in order to ensure they don't shoot the messenger, I need to have a hands-on demonstration and approval.

Any suggestions are much appreciated. I don't have much hair left to pull out.
