Can't Find FRU on Heatsink and Fan

Hi,

A little help here!

I've been trying to shop around a replaceable unit for my T61 Heatsink Fan since it began already spurring out noises on odd times. The thing is there is no available FRU# online that matches the one in my unit - T61 14.1 inch widescreen with serial 7660-14A. The FRU# that I got online are the following:

Toshiba Service Part Number (FRU) 42W2460
Furukawa Service Part Number (FRU) 44C0825

By the way, my T61 is no longer covered with the warranty so bringing this to a
Lenovo/IBM repair center would definitely cost me big time.

The only available units online (thru ebay mostly) are either:
42W2462 or 42W2463

My question is, would these items available online fit into my unit?
I havent yet tried dissembling it since I'm still scouring for confirmation if these items would be feasible or not.

Please help me since I can't decide if I would buy these replacement items or not.

Both the 42W2460 and the 44C0825 are available on eBay (new as well as used).
But before you shop around for a new one, maybe all it needs is a proper cleaning of the accumulated dust.
