Impressive...some very bored ThinkPad owners out there...

Write to your congressman/woman and request ThinkPads to be protected from this type of abuse... :)

Kind of unrelated, but when I clicked on the link, the first post is about Lenovo having a warehouse sale at the Morrisville, NC headquarter today (Saturday). Do you guys think it's worth it for me to go check it out? Granted it's only 20 minutes away from where I live, I will have to alter my original plans for tomorrow to make it over there. Any thoughts?

thread drift, but wild horses could not keep me from visiting that place..
its always worth it to go see whats a good deal at these things..
look for the "challenged" items..
like missing parts or a big scratch..
or an unopened shipping carton that got wet..
or a thinkpad with a forklift attached.. :)

many many years ago i used to go to the h/p employee sales at what is not called old corporate on page mill road in palo alto..
there were always good deals but you really need to have a need and know what you are buying..

In regard to the flying TP, while it is pretty cool, my vote goes to "fake." I mean, complete Bee-S.

In regard to the warehouse. If there were one tomorrow near me, I'd be as giddy as a schoolgirl.
