Horizontal & vertical display adjustment?
Horizontal & vertical display adjustment?
Hi folks, I'm really glad to have my laptop running again. This new question has been bothering me for a long time and I can't find the answer anywhere. There is a half an inch of unused monitor area on each side of my screen display and an 1/8 of an inch above and below it. Is there any way to adjust the screen to get to the edges of my T23 LCD monitor? Thank you for your help.

Re: Horizontal & vertical display adjustment?
Is the resolution set correctly? if not, LCD scaling may be off, in which case the image would be compressed down to the actuall resolution of the screen (setting in bios). For example runing an XGA (1024x768) screen at 800x600 will cause either everything to be displayed in the center of the screen, or everything will fit an look pixelated and difficult to read. Try increasing the screen resolution and see if that helps
Good luck

Re: Horizontal & vertical display adjustment?
I was running at 1280 X 1024 and I changed it to 1400 X 1050 and the display screen filled my monitor perfectly and my icons and text are sharp and much easier to read. I have searched high and low for the answer and I got it here in 2 minutes. I hesitated to ask here because it seemed like a question I should have been able to handle myself. Thanks so much!
