t61 vs r61 motherboard differences?

The HMM lists the motherboards for the T and R as different part numbers. Some retailers list motherboards as being suitable for both. Although machines are quite similar might think the mobos would differ. anyone have a definitivew answer?

I asume you are talking about 14.1" wide-screen. I believe the difference between them is the number printed on the fru sticker.
