US / UK Keyboard

Just installed Windows XP on my t21 but I think it was a US version and I am in the UK.
So i went to regions setting in control panel and set it to UK/English but the £key is not working and the @sign is now shift+2 and the " is now where the @ sign should be

how can i get this back to normal

You also have to set the language in your word processor. In Word it is TOOLS/LANGUAGE/SET LANGUAGE.
