T400 Windows 7 WiFi hiccups

#1 Post by bobbarker » Fri Sep 25, 2009 9:20 am

Is anyone else who runs Windows 7 have any trouble with their wifi (I've got the 5100 not the fancier 5300)? Mine works fine but usually from a suspend/resume cycle I have to "diagnose" it and it finds out the wifi is off (hurr durr) and it turns it on (Vista did this too). After about <5 minutes of use it turns back off and I repeat the diagnose thing and it turns it back on then all is normal and it wont happen again till another suspend resume. It never effects how it functions once its on but it's a real tedious amount of hoops to jump through just for wifi (3G tethering is more easy and convenient).

Bump

Getting rid of lenovos connection manager seems to help a bit but not all the way there.
