If you have an AmEx with an additional U.S. address, even if the primary one is out of U.S. you may be able to do something.

Foreign Visa/MC are not accepted by Lenovo in the U.S.

I was referring to an American Express credit card, with an additional U.S. address.

Unless you have that, you won't be able to do anything.

In my experience as an outside the US person, AMEX lets you have one billing address only, and thats all.

On the other hand I've never had any issue from AMEX themselves in terms of getting goods shipped anywhere in the world I have been at the time, without changing my (Australian) billing address.

From these experiences I strongly suspect that AMEX works somewhat differently to EMV (EuroCard/MasterCard/ VISA) card groups in terms of handling of shipping addresses.

It may different in the US, so YMMV!
