Availability of X200 Tablet with 2.1Ghz processor?

#1 Post by gpvillamil » Mon Oct 05, 2009 8:09 pm

I looked on the tabook, and saw listed a model number (7450) which has a 2.1Ghz dual-core processor, and the Enhanced Multitouch screen.

However, on Lenovo's site, the option to configure the processor only goes up to 1.86Ghz.

Any ideas on how to get the faster processor?

You can try buying the specific model you saw in the Tabook from a reseller.

Or you can see if you can select the 2.13GHz CPU on the phone through Lenovo.

I also noticed this on the US site for Lenovo. You can see the 2.13 option on the main page but when you go to configure the highest configuration available is the 1.86 cpu..

You can call Lenovo sales and ask to be notified by email when the SL9600 processor becomes available. This is a service they provide to potential customers.
