Speakers for T42dxu2379

I would like to get speakers for my laptop and wonder if there are some specific kind or brand name to go with my unit. I don't know anything about speakers; they all look the same to me, and I don't understand the technological terms used in describing them. So I would really appreciate if anyone could help me to choose some small ones to listen to talks and lectures without needing to use headphones.

If it is just listening to talks and lectures then anything will do. IMO, you only need sound quality with music ... but then I'd listen to that through my hi-fi with Mission speakers.
