If you have dial up, when you click on your web browser icon, you expect it to dial before it does anything else, no exceptions, ever. That is how they work.
Mozilla seems to have eliminated this feature from FireFox 3.5.x, making it useless. On their web site, they tell you to go into "services" and enable auto dial in a couple of places. But if you do that, the computer will dial all by itself whenever it feels like it, and that is as unacceptable as not dialing automatically, if not worse considering some of the web sites it wanted to connect to, that I had never heard of.
What is the correct way to make FireFox dial?
How do I make FireFox 3.5.x dial?
