Can the Z50 use a Microdrive?

Older ThinkPads.. from the 600, the 7xx, the iSeries, 300, 500, the Transnote and, of course, the 701

Can the Z50 use a Microdrive?

#1 Post by Bookworm » Tue Oct 13, 2009 10:12 am

I was looking at microdrives on eBay (cheaper than CF) and one seller said theirs would not work with a PDA. The Z50 isn't exactly a PDA. (It isn't *exactly* anything specific, exept small.) Will a microdrive work with it, or should I stick with CF? Is there a BIOS limit on the size of a CF?

If it fits, it SHOULD work.

Hi,

It works, with the proviso that it is not one OEM or ripped from some sort of MP3 player.

Cheers
