R61 Win Audio driver problem (missing)

Old Thinkpad user - but with a new R61 in hand
Works excellent except the sound (HD thingie - saw around here thet there is an issue with it) - When bought (sh barely used) it had an Win Xp - working on it - But my custom is to do a fresh install on every new machine i get.
After that i cannot get the soud to work - cannot find the specific driver for it
The machine type is irellevant - since it has a replaced mobo - here it is - 8918-5QC
the mobo FRU is FRU 42W7883 intel chipset
running Win XP Sp2

i've tried downloading the driver for the machines that contain this mobo - but no luck yet...

please help

You installed the UAA driver?

In the end yes... downloaded this only after i've installed the similar thing from HP.com - they have some notebooks with the same chipset
after that - the driver worked like a charm
