x200s Sleep/Resume Sound Issue
x200s Sleep/Resume Sound Issue
I own an x200s, LED back-lit, running windows vista 64 bit. My problem resides in the fact that every time I put the computer into sleep mode, there is a very loud single beep (only occurs when the volume is not muted). This beep also occurs when I resume the computer from sleep mode. Is this a uniform feature of all Thinkpad x200s' or is there some type of setting that I can change to prevent this sound from occurring? Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
Re: x200s Sleep/Resume Sound Issue
You can change the beep on sleep/hibernate from the BIOS. Just poke around there and you'll find it. Cheers.
