T43: Is there a factory default administrator password?

:?:I'm trying to run the recovery CD and it insists on the Administrator password. I'm pretty sure I never set one; but I have owned the unit trouble-free for 4 years+ and my memory left long before that...

In any case, I've tried all of my usual passwords to no avail. Is there perhaps a factory default one? :?: TIA

Ideapad purch Oct 2013. Cannot recommend.

No there is no default password of any kind on any ThinkPad.

Did you try just hitting enter and leave the PW empty?
Maybe try 'admin' or 'Admin'?

Is this the BIOS password or windows password?
