Your experience with repairing T43 fan

#1 Post by lukee » Tue Oct 20, 2009 1:25 am

Hello, I read some instructions on web about repairing T43's fan. My fan is very noisy and I will try to repair it (before buying new one). My question is, if you have some experience with this? Is enough to drop small amount of motor oil into the bearing? How long it will works in "silent mode" after applying that oil? Thank you.

"Noisy" has a wide range of meanings. Here is what a forum member posted:

I tried this method on my "noisy" fan and it didn't help. In the end I bought new fan.
