how strong is AC adapter port on X40?

#1 Post by kadf88 » Mon Feb 14, 2005 1:16 pm

I'd imagine that there's lots of unplugging and plugging in for our x40s so i'm wondering, will these ports wear out eventually? like will it be a loose fit when you plug it in, in the future?
right now its really like, its hard to even pull it out.

everything wears out in time..
the X40 AC adapter socket is on the left side thus less chance of damage than the T40 series..
less up and down or back and forth "working" of the plug while plugged in sure helps its life..

i too notice that the plug is hard to pull out of the X40..
