New WD HDD Question
New WD HDD Question
Currently have an X60 (1706-5KU) that I would like to upgrade with a new disk. Any recommendations on which aftermarket disks work well with this system, or should I stick with Lenovo disks only? Anyone have experience with WD2500BEVSRTL1 sold at best buy? Will this work ok on my thinkpad with APS? I have heard of some seagate drives having problems with APS.
Re: New WD HDD Question
You don't have to stick with Lenovo drives on the X60. I prefer Western Digital drives. My favorite is the Scorpio Black because of speed, reliability, and quiet operation. They even provide a free copy of Trueimage for cloning the old to new drive.
