What glue (if any) do you use to re-attach the screw covers?

I use a very light (not strong) glue from a stationery shop called Tombo Multi. It has a fine applicator tip and dries clear.

Or double-sided scotch-tape, which you cut out to size.

In a pinch, I have used a hole punch and black electrical tape.

Elmers rubber cement from Walmart. I dip a very thin jewelers screw driver into it and then apply to the whole adhesive side of the cover. Push cover onto screw hole and allow to dry overnight. Any excess is easily removed by rubbing finger across it once dry. Looks origonal and factory perfect provided cover in good shape to begin with.

Tacky Glue works great. It dries clear and the excess can be cleaned up with a damp rag. Tacky Glue can be found in any craft store. The downside is it can take 30 minutes or so to set firmly with the quick dry formula.
