Brightness display randomly(?) pops up on X200S (w/battery)

Hi

While on the X200S' battery power, the brightness display seems to randomly appear (alternating between two brightness settings). My guess is that I must be in some dynamic battery saving mode, but I can't figure out which setting is doing this.

Does anyone know how I can stop this from happening?

Go into power manager and into the settings for the currently selected power scheme. Most likely you have a power saving option selected that allows screen dimming. You can change this behavior in the settings for the scheme or in the universal power settings.
