x24 won't boot
I accidently knocked my x24 off the bed (36in drop) and now it won't boot up.
I've tried some suggestions I found on here but nothings has worked. Plugging in the power cord and taking it out and immediately trying to boot system.
The power light comes on and blinks and then the system goes into sleep mode within seconds but nothing ever appears on the screen. I've checked the cables for the LCD and nothing is loose. Any ideas what could be wrong?

Re: x24 won't boot
There is a lid switch on the KB bezel. Make sure it is not stuck down.

Re: x24 won't boot
Remove battery, unplug AC power cable. Hold down power button 10 times, then once more for not less than 30 seconds. See if the unit will power on then.

Re: x24 won't boot
When I removed the KB bezel and put it back on it booted ok. After shifiting the laptop a couple of time it's doing the same thing again.

Are you sure that when you replaced the bevel that the reed switch was correct?
I only ask because when I worked on my T60 a while back I accidentally re-assembled it with the reed switch down and couldn't figure out why it wouldn't power on.
