Recently upgraded a X31 from XP to Win7. Everything appears to work pretty well except for when the laptop is docked in a Dock II with a DVD drive. In that configuration, Win7 freezes at boot up during the windows logo animation screen - no BSOD, just solid freezing (including the logo animation); if I pop the DVD drive from the dock, then Win7 loads normally. No such problem back in the XP days.
Anyone else having this issue? If not X31/DockII, how about another laptop (e.g., T42) with DockII?
Thanks in advance!
