Sim Swap

All,

If we have multiple T400 machines with identical hardware configurations (and identical software configurations for the most part) would it be possible for a user with WWAN enabled on their machine to simply swap their SIM to another machine? Is the SIM tied to WWAN configuration/activation software on the machine?

Ideally we'd like to have a few SIM cards activated and be able to swap them based on users travel needs.

The ThinkPads wont care, but your 3G provider might, depending on how closely they track device IMEIs and SIM card IDs.
