Windows 7 brightness key overlay not working

#1 Post by phil81uk » Fri Oct 30, 2009 9:36 am

I recently installed Windows 7. Almost everything works, apart from the green overlay when using the brightness controls. Does anyone know on this? My volume overlays and all other overlays (thinklight etc) work fine.

Thanks

had the same problem on my X300. I really don't know what fixed it. try uninstalling current power manager driver and downloading Lenovo System Update and updating through that.

What you're missing is likely the System Interface Driver here: http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site. ... 67228.html
