the annoying user picture
anyway to remove annoying user account picture from the start menu? in vista i was able to select windows classic start menu w/o that ugly picture, this option is gone in windows 7. anybody found a trick to get around it?

For the short time I used W7 (RC Ultimate), I had installed it with myself as the only user with full admin rights.
There was not even a login screen, it booted straight to the desktop.

Take at look at the link below. It describes the location of the account pictures. It seems to me that if you create a blank .bmp file and put it in that location and select it as your account picture then you'll be a happy camper.

Go to the Users in Control Panel, there is an option something like "change my picture." Once you click on that link you will be taken to a selection of canned pictures, there is a link to browse for more pictures, which will open up a dialog. Navigate to the picture you want and select it. As far as I can tell, Win 7 automatically resizes the picture.
