THINKVANTAGE PROBLEM

I have a T60 and need help to solve this situation, would thank a proper advice : when I start the system and press the blue thinkvantage button anything happens, the system starts to boot normally and I can´t launch the Rescue and recovery application at starters, I need to restore my system to factory setting, what shoul I do anyway?

On some thinkpads you can switch off the Thinkvantage option & reconfigure the blue button. Try looking in BIOS to see if it is properly set to react as it should when pressed.
Some people are like Slinkies................... they are really good for nothing, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down the stairs!

is that partition still valid? i know some people nuked the whole thing.. I think the F11 or f12 option might get you an option to boot into the utility but if not you'll need to find someone to ghost off on
