Syncing Internet Explorer and Firefox Favorites/Bookmarks

#1 Post by Tõnis » Sun Nov 01, 2009 7:58 pm

Could anyone recommend a reliable (not spyware-ridden) program or application for syncing Internet Explorer Favorites and Firefox Bookmarks? I like to use both browsers and would like to have the exact same favorites/bookmarks on each.

Yes, Xmarks works with both IE and Firefox. I've been using it on Firefox (when it was called Foxmarks) for a couple of years, and now on IE when the IE-compatible version came out. Syncing is seamless between the two browsers (actually, between multiple browsers on multiple PCs). It works so well I've forgotten how much of a pain it used to be to keep bookmarks/favorites in sync.

Thank you for this! I know I can look for these things elsewhere on line, but a recommendation from a fellow ThinkPad enthusiast carries considerably more weight in my (note)book!
