Mains indicator not working properly

Mains indicator not working properly

Hello
While the AC adapter is plugged in, the indicator does not work. All other indicators are fine.
What could be the issue? Can it be handled without visiting the service center?

I have seen problems with LCDs be the motherboard, the inverter or the cable. There is no way to tell without swapping parts
