This has probably been covered many times, but i upgraded to windows 7...and now i have 2 issues:
1. the scrolling feature on the touchpad doesnt work. It won't scroll up/down or right left on web pages.
2. There's no more OSD when i press the volume up and down buttons.
I have already downloaded and installed the hotkey driver, the power manager driver, the system something driver..basically all the drivers needed.
Can anyone shed some light on this? thanks!

Re: OSD and Scroll
Did you run the set-up also? The driver package that I've downloaded from Lenovo only unpacked and did not install.
For the OSD, have tried the System Interface Driver?

Re: OSD and Scroll
That is correct. Lenovo driver and software packages generally only unpack to your hard drive when you execute the package. After executing the downloaded package, you then have to go th C:\Drivers\<subdirectory>\<sudirectory>\setup.exe to actually install the driver or software. Sometimes the executable is not named setup.exe, but some other *.exe file. The *.xml file in the install folder for a package will tell you what driver or software will be installed when you double-click on it.seungsohn wrote:Did you run the set-up also? The System Interface Driver is needed for practically everything. It should be installed before most other drivers.

Re: OSD and Scroll
I believe with their drivers for Windows 7 Lenovo has changed the install procedure. Most (if not all) of the driver packages for Windows 7 are actually real setup programs, which directly install the driver (except for IMSM where one has to install the driver from device manager anyway). This is definitely a step forward as the old procedure (running -> unpacking -> navigating to the folder -> running .exe) was somewhat annoying IMHO...
