If you are expecting emails from this forum, confirming a PM or post-watching, forget it (alas).
Hasn't worked for most people in a long time, and does not seem to be solved any time soon either...

Good to know, but actually I was asking about Password Manager (PM) but it seems that Lenovo hasn't released any update for FF v3.x, yet and that the old do-ityourself-hack is valid to get it to work.

Get the Nightly Tester Tools addon. Install it. Then re-enable password manager.

It works as it used to after that. Each time you upgrade firefox, check for a new version of Nightly Tester Tools.

Thanks for the tip, useful addon for FF. But, for the moment I just changed the version the plugins as already suggested in some other threads. Modified version of ThinkVantage Password Manager can be found here.

Did that for a while, but the problem is every time Firefox comes out with a new revision, you need t re-edit the xpi and reinstall. Nightly build is a click or two. Not that editing the xpi doesn't work because it does, it's just harder, needs to be done more often and, if you do it wrong you criple it. [1] When I was using the xpi mod, I also noticed more crashes of Firefox, but that may well have been the particular version of Firefox.

[1] If you do hose it, remove the xpi. Uninstall Firefox. Delete the Firefox directory from Program Files or Program Files (x86). Then re-install it all.
