x61 7674-bb9 LCD replacement

i have searched the site and also made mistakes of buying LTN121XJ-L03 to which this fits but does not work.

i have a lenovo x61 7674-bb9 with a HT121X01-101 LCD

in the HMM : http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site. ... MIGR-62866

it states that compatible panels are :

13N7092
13N7094
42T0435
13N7096
42T0343

so before i buy a 13N7096 at very high cost can anyone advise if they are 100% it will work on my laptop.

what are your experiences in these different FRU's ? has anyone tried with this model before ?

Welcome to the forum.

With respect, if you read the spec sheets for the two LCDs you cite, and can not see that they are incompatible, you should seek help from a technician in replacing your LCD. The wrong LCD can damage the motherboard.

I'm replacing mine as well. When I removed the old one there is a PN and FRU number on the back.

I have the ultralight screen so the P/N is 13N7091 FRU 13N7092

They are priced around $400. I'm considering just buying a used laptop and taking the screen from that since it's about the same cost as just the screen. I can't believe how much people want for a 12" TN panel...

The Toshiba Model number is LTD121ECHB, however I have sceen LTD121ECHB's online that are not the same thing, the power was not even on the case side of the screen.
