When installing Win 7 will I lose OSD & special functions?

#1 Post by Entropy1024 » Thu Nov 12, 2009 8:18 am

If I install Win 7 on my T60 will I lose the OSD and the special functions buttons such as Brightness, ThinkLight etc?

Is this stored in BIOS and therefore will not be effected by a fresh install?

I did come across a program below but not sure if this is a series of drivers for USB, screen etc or if this is for the OSD etc?

Many thanks for any help

No you won't lose the OSD as long as you install the power management driver, the system interface driver, and the Hotkey utilities driver.
