couple Windows7 issues

hey all,
recently installed Win7 and some weird issues came up...

1. when chaning brightness there is no brightness bar on the screen

2. when double-click on items with touchpad buttons, it won't activate the item, but gets to rename item or won't do anything, only quick tripple-click would open items, or double-click with the touchpad itself, not with the button...

any ideas??
