Greetings, gentlemen. Yesterday I tried to upgrade my T42 built in Cisco WIFI card with the Intel 2200BG recycled from my ex-Vaio. Once I turned the laptop on, the system didn't allow to boot on, it said that the card was illegal, blah, blah. My question is, which could be the problem? the motherboard, or the Intel 2200BG?
Thanks for your responses.
Can I upgrade my internal WIFI PCI card?
Re: Can I upgrade my internal WIFI PCI card?
You will need this to force BIOS accept non-IBM minipci cards.
