are these laptop screens compatible?

hello. ok i have a ibm thinkpad t42. i need a new lcd screen. i was looking on ebay and notices the t40 screens are cheaper.

if i bought:

would it be compatible?

Yes, it would be compatible if your current LCD is 14.1".
