Help: Windows 7 on Thinkpad T42p screen flicker

Hi,

I've installed Windows 7 Rtm on my Thinkpad T42p 2373-C61.
Windows update detected all drivers I need.

One problem encountered, my LCD went flickering after windows update finished installing all drivers.
My display driver is ATI FireGL T2/T2e using Microsoft driver.

Is there any way I can increase refresh rate to 60Hz, because it's locked to 50Hz only.

Anyone with same problem?

I have the same issue, video flicker after upgrade to win 7 with ati FireGL T2 video card and win7 updated driver, as you, I did not find the solution so far and I wonder whether you get any update for your issue.

I replaced entire LCD assembly with another T42 SXGA+ LCD.
Problem is gone.
